Sarah Shapiro, LCSW, RYT
Sarah’s teaching style integrates Astanga yoga flow and Iyengar yoga precision. Her classes are also a forum for learning the practical applications of yoga philosophy and modern psychology in daily life. Sarah hopes to inspire her students to live with more inner peace and joy.
Sarah received her yoga teachers training at the Integral Yoga Institute, New York, in 1993. In 2000, she completed an Astanga yoga teacher training program with master teacher Beryl Birch Bender. Sarah is a devoted yogi and she has studied yoga for over 20 years with master teachers such as: Patabi Jois, Dharma Mittra, David Life, Sharon Gannon, Cyndi Lee and Rodney Yee.

Debbie Olivastri, RYT
Debbie’s yoga journey began through classes at the Downtown Yoga Studio. After eight years of yoga classes, yoga teacher training felt like a natural step to continue her yoga path. As a lifelong student Debbie attends many workshops and courses to further her knowledge of the mind, body and spirit. Debbie believes in yoga as a constant practice and hopes to bring the love of yoga to her students. Those coming to her class can expect to work hard, focus their energies, and cultivate a greater sense of peace and awareness. Debbie is a Registered Yoga Teacher, RYT.

Joanna Shultz, RYT
Joanna first began practicing yoga to cope with performance anxiety while completing her B.M.T. at the University of Windsor. She soon began to see benefits not only in regards to piano, but in every area of her life. In the spring of 2009, Joanna completed her Ashtanga/Yin Yoga Teacher Training at the Yoga Shala in Victoria, B.C.. Her classes focus on students' discovery of all parts of the Self.
