BEFORE CLASS
What to bring: If you have a mat bring one, (we sell mats or we can lend you a mat), a small hand towel, comfortable clothes.
Meal Times: Please eat 2 hours before a yoga class. You may have a very light snack such as a piece of fruit but heavy meals may interfere with your ability to do some poses
Perfume/Scents: Kindly do not wear heavy perfumes into the yoga studio. Some students may have allergies.
Punctuality: Kindly arrive 10 minutes before each class to check in and to get settled. It is important to begin each class on time.
Shoes: Please take your shoes and socks off before entering the yoga studio.
DURING CLASS
Making space for others: Please arrange your mat so that others can fit in the room.. It is common for yoga mats to be “one hand” apart. It creates heat for bodies to become more flexible and creates warmth in the room.
Cell Phone: Kindly turn your cell phones off before your yoga class. Enjoy this peaceful time within the studio.
Final Relaxation: If you need to leave class early, please leave before final relaxation. Please try to be silent during this pose as it is very important for the integration of all the wonderful benefits of yoga.
